Commenting on the news that his Autism (Scotland) Bill has been assigned to the Education Committee Liberal Democrat MSP for Central Scotland, Hugh O’Donnell said:

“I welcome the news that the Autism (Scotland) Bill has been assigned to the Education Committee.

“Autism affects people of all ages however and the purpose of my Bill is to end the postcode lottery which exists in Scotland in terms of service provision for all service users and their carers.

“I look forward to working closely with members of the committee to ensure that this is another step along the road to more equality and better care for people with autism in Scotland.”
